Spider-Man on Atari 2600 VCS
This is a short video clip of me playing Spider-Man on the Atari 2600 VCS retro video games console.
Released in 1982 by Parker Brothers, this is probably the very first Spider-Man game, coming long before the now hugely popular movies, and the games console tie-ins that we see released on a regular basis these days.
Climb the building, rescue the hostages in the windows, defuse or avoid the bombs in the girders above, avoid the Green Goblin, and defuse the big bomb at the top.... or something.
Being a huge Spider-Man fan as a kid.... and to this day, in fact... I played this game to death.
This and the other retro gaming clips on this site aren't intended as full game reviews, but are simply to give viewers who weren't around when these games were popular, an idea of what video games used to be like.
