Cosmic Avenger on Colecovision
This is a short video clip of me playing Cosmic Avenger on the Colecovision retro video games console.
Published by Universal in 1981.
Cosmic Avenger is a perfectly competent copy of the classic horizontal scrolling shootemup, Scramble.
The graphics are nice and colourful, and visually, it knocks spots off the similarly themed game from the same era on the Atari 2600, Super Cobra.
This and the other retro gaming clips on this site aren't intended as full game reviews, but are simply to give viewers who weren't around when these games were popular, an idea of what video games used to be like.
